BATTLE FOR #1 - FRIDAY JANUARY 6th - 7:30
The rematch of an earlier district battle is right around the corner. The last time the Nease Panthers and Ponte Vedra Sharks met, it was a battle that came down to the wire. In that game, Ponte Vedra came out on top and took the top spot in the district. With a win Friday night Nease would redeem the loss and regain a tie for the top district spot. It is a HUGE game for the Panthers and we need the gym PACKED.

Panthers Win 3rd Consecutive Courts of Dreams Series Game
In a battle that seems to get closer and closer each time the teams meet, Nease converted a shot with less than 10 seconds remaining to defeat Oakleaf 52-50 in a battle. After a close first half, Nease seemed to have pulled away during the 3rd quarter when the Panthers pushed a lead into double figures. Midway through the 4th Quarter, Oakleaf mounted a furious comeback and took the lead from the Panthers. After timeouts back and forth it came down to a cluth shot by Nease's Blake McClain to win the game.
